3D Printer

last week we did 3D printing in our class. first we had to do lessons on how to move shape around and how to view from different angles. The site we used was called https://www.tinkercad.com/. after we got to create our names. we had to join the letters together so when it got printed out it would be stuck together. now we get to make our own design I made a bee. but two only got chosen to get printed.

  1. Hello Maya my name is Benson from Waikowhai Primary School. I found the Blog Post very interesting but I want to know how the 3D printer works? This question I want to know because I have never seen or used a 3D printer. How long did it take to make one name? Maybe next time you can also add more information. Besides that keepup the great work!

  2. Hello Benson,
It took 30-45 minutes to print someones name. I have no idea how the 3D printer worked but I think it melted a piece of plastic and on a piece of tape it was like a pencil and it did a outline of your name then coloured it in.hopefully I have answer some of the questions that you had
    bye
